ExperienceI am a native English speaker with a background in teaching English as a Second Language to pupils aged 10-25 years in Villeneuve-Loubet, France and Glasgow, Scotland. I was born in California to British parents and I have been formally educated in USA and the UK and hold passports from both countries.
I recently completed a PhD (August, 2013) at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. I have been an Student Support Worker at the University of Glasgow, tutoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in various subjects for the past seven years.
My partner is Serbian, we have recently purchased a house just outside of Belgrade and we are in the process of moving to Serbia permanently. I am committed to teaching and creating an enthusiastic learning environment. Many of my pupils were international students who were being taught in English for the first time and I am keen to continue to teach and work with pupils in Belgrade.
I would be very glad to act as an English tutor for those interested in improving their spoken and written English and to help students prepare for employment abroad. A copy of my CV and references is available on request if this is of interest.
